IPU Fonden is a non-profit foundation working to strengthen Denmark’s competitiveness through technical and scientific research and development. We do this by bridging technological advances from academia to industry, supporting research initiatives that matter for Danish society, and enabling IPU P/S, our commercial consultancy subsidiary, to deliver research-based solutions to real-world challenges.

Our board of directors brings together expertise from DTU, industry, and IPU P/S, ensuring strong governance and a clear strategic direction.

IPU Fonden, founded in 1956, has a long-term goal to improve the Danish society's competitiveness, by supporting technical and scientific research and development projects.

Following the structural change in 2022, the Fonden aims to formulate a coherent and practical strategy for the following five years, making sure it matches its vision as stated in its charter and backs up the work of its operating company, IPU P/S.
